It's 11pm EST on a Saturday evening over Labor Day weekend, but why would any of that stop Drake, the most popular artist in music at the moment, from releasing a brand new music video?
Despite currently performing in Houston, Texas, for his Summer Sixteen Tour, theOVO general has dropped off a 12-minute music video for "Child's Play," a standout selection from his multi-Platinum certified album Views.
Released through Apple Music, the Spliff TV-directed video, which is more mini movie and less traditional music video, stars supermodel-turned-talk show host Tyra Banks and was filmed at the Cheesecake Factory in Houston this past July.
In addition to his title as a superstar recording artist, you can now add professional stuntman to Drake's ever-growing resume as the Toronto native allowed his co-star to not only smash a perfectly good slice of original cheesecake in his face, but also to dump an entire glass of expensive red wine over his head. What won't this man do in the name of hip-hop?
For those fans looking forward to the release of additional visuals from his latest album, Drake has also shot a video for his hit single "One Dance" and is scheduled to release a short film, entitled Please Forgive Me, on September 30.
